I never had a hero. I never thought I needed one.
Worshipping someone doesn’t work for a rebel.
I’m too original to want to be like someone else.
Nobody ever saved my life. Nobody ever had to.
But that’s not all that defines a hero.
A hero makes hard decisions and doesn’t flinch.
A hero puts what’s important ahead of what’s easy.
A hero believes in good. A hero has faith.
A hero is willing to fight for what’s right.
And most importantly, a hero never gives up.
And now, I realize I have a hero.
My hero is you.
